I use IE. So is Firefox a good browser?

It doesn't make any difference for this site - I do all my development based on IE since that is what over 70% of people use.

Firefox is more standards-compliant than IE but even it has its issues.  Personally I prefer Chrome over Firefox.

I'm having more problems with the site than ever before. Seems like every time I hit the "post" button I get kicked off. When I hit the "back" arrow it takes me to the previous page but will take forever to navigate off of that page. Whether I hit "home" or another tab it just takes forever. I haven't changed anything on my end.

It's the site grate.  You're not the only one having issues.  I'm moving the site to a temporary server this weekend in an attempt to track down the culprits.

When I log in at work, the Twitter and schedule bleed over into the board and cover things

The current setup is temporary although I don't know why it is covering the other parts of the site.  I don't have that problem and haven't heard anyone else with it.  :-?

The plan is to redo the main page as soon as the server issues are taken care of, which should be this weekend.

Okay amigos and amigas, here's the plan for this weekend:

Tonight: I'm going to do a trial run of moving the server and database.  The site could be sluggish during this time.

If everything goes well then we'll do the real thing tomorrow night after midnight.  The site will be down during this time.

I'll be able to give you an idea of downtime tomorrow night based on how things go tonight.

We're moving the site tomorrow night.

Actually, it is coming home.  We're moving the site from Scottsdale AZ to a server in West Virginia.  :mountaineer:

Just a reminder that the site will be down tonight for a few minutes.  I'll probably do the shutdown around 1:00.
