Ok ladies and gents, this weekend is shaping up to be the big weekend of the move.  Saturday night/Sunday morning I'm going to disable posting access to the site although everyone will still have read access.  We're doing a database conversion then rolling out the new layout.  All said and done this will take about two hours.

Please, PLEASE, keep in mind that things never work perfectly when we do conversions so some avatars are going to go missing and smilies might not work right out of the gate.  Bear with me while I update things throughout Sunday and the first of next week.

This will also be the time we shut down access to the site to visitors.  If you're a visitor sign up!  It is free, we don't send you any harrassing emails and you can play games in the arcade.

TMN Mobile will be down into Sunday although I will attempt to have the full-blown handheld goodness back up and functioning as quickly as possible.

I'm bumping this back until possibly tomorrow night.  I found a glitch in the PM system that I want to fix before rollout.

Will we have the twitter feed back any time soon? Sorry to say it's my favorite part of the site because it's up to the second and covers all the newest stuff from all over the web in real time...

Yes.  I've been working on the new site.  I've been fighting issues with the Private Message system but I should have them ironed out in the next few days.

I love the feeds here because they are all WVU related and it's all business
I don't want anyone knowing where I'm at, what I'm doing or some cracked out ex gf/wife looking me up somewhere in a drunken stupor nor do I care what they are doing either... 
TMN is the closest to social media I get and I'm thrilled to keep it that way.... If you're not in my phone, I pretty much don't care what you're doing...lol...

I remember the days of bored, drunken, late night phone calls...from a land line, corded phone.  Social media was a newspaper's "society" section.  Functionality...what's that? 

Everyone is going into read-only mode around 11:00 tonight.  You can surf the site all you want but posting will be disabled.  It should be back up between 12:00 and 12:30.
