I appreciate you mentioning it. I thought I was the only one that used search. I should have asked when it went down; I could have expedited a fix.DAE wrote:Oh.... No problem. Thanks Kevin. Wasn't sure if it was a real issue or not, or whether anyone was aware if it was.

Re: Functionality and System Maintenance Announcements
someone in the BP was saying something that sounded like the opposite of what they argued 6 or so months ago. I was willing to take a look at search but now I know you're lying based on the statement above. NOBODY EVER says anything contradictory or hypocritical in the BP. Seriously, several months...

If that's the case then they've already upgraded the execution layer to run Jellybean API Level 16, which is Android 4.1. The latest version of Maps works on 4.0.3.

Re: What mobile OS do you use?
A lot of people are really liking the Blackberry 10 series from what I've heard. It will be supporting Android apps too. Only Android Apps that are built to run on ICS, which is Android 2.3, or older. That app pool is shrinking quickly. Blackberry has announced they'll update the execution layer to...

Re: What mobile OS do you use?
Have you considered Tapatalk ? Considering there aren't any Blackberry users that's the direction we're going. We're going for the fully branded standalone app that will be free for our users as opposed to a listing on the Tapatalk site and forcing people to pay for the generic tapatalk app. I'm us...

Re: Functionality and System Maintenance Announcements
Hey folks, I just got an email from our datacenter that they are going to be performing maintenance tonight at midnight for 20 minutes. If we're down during that time just hang tight and they'll have everything back up by 12:20. Thanks. Oh, Twitter changed their API...again. The Twitter feed should ...

What mobile OS do you use?
I'm working on the mobile app and want to see who uses which mobile platform and how many use mobile to begin with. Please post any comments as well. This poll will directly affect the rollout of the TMN app. Thanks!

Re: Functionality and System Maintenance Announcements
Nothing has changed on the site so my guess is Twitter did an undocumented upgrade to their API. I'll check into it.Teameers wrote:Anybody elese having trouble seeing the twitter feed?

Re: Functionality and System Maintenance Announcements
I just wanted to apologize for the downtime this afternoon. The east coast datacenter our server sits in lost all connectivity. It should be back up but we might see a hiccup while they continue to work on it.

Thanks. I think I entered a URL from photobucket. A pic of superwoman. Not sure about sizing, this is all new to me, I'd be glad to read up on it if you can point me in the right direction. I tried the help, but it didn't really help. Hey tubex, It should be automatic - once you upload an avatar it...

Re: Functionality and System Maintenance Announcements
I plan on doing some database maintenance tonight, probably between 11:30 and midnight. The site will likely be up but if you post during that time there's a good chance your posts will be lost.

Re: The Bully Pulpit
The BP will be making its return to TMN. I'll need to rewire the existing boards back into the site. Give me a day or two based on the "real" job.

The Bully Pulpit
I'm finishing up the layout of the BP and need suggestions for the different forums. I'm open to any suggestion that provide a logical layout of political areas of discussion. We have domestic social issues, domestic economic issues, international issues or we could go further into breaking it down....
