I hope you guys do not get this one. Pop ups every few seconds, fake scans, can't get your task manager to come up, can't do a restore, can't delete the files, virus scanners will not work

SPD- Be careful what you save from your computer onto a flash drive or CD.
After you crash your computer and you start re-installing the save data, there's a chance you can put the virus back on the computer again.

The Avenger anti-virus program kept popping up in the right hand corner of his screen on a family members computer. Then, he would try and get on the, net, but only for moments at a time. And his true anti-virus program wouldn't even come up to run a scan. He waz screwed.

Always some kind of virus wanting to f*ck things up.
May it be physically or hich-technolgy.

I ran Malwarebytes in safe mode and got rid of some stuff. The antivirus icon is finally gone from the tool bar but it still re-directs me when I try to search. It deleted my favorites too.running malware again now

If you're running Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, select the Connections tab, Click the LAN Settings button and make sure all three check boxes are UNchecked.
