I am not sure I would call the writers experts.   wink

I think they could have made their point, without the over the top put down of all things Democrat. I will say that reigning in the powers of executive branch is necessary, Congress has let it happen to itself.

Its very possible and I say probable if we don't correct our course.  I said as much a month ago and I'm still not kidding.  As a nation, the "middle" has grown weary of "our" governement rewarding the wrong behavior.  If the trajectory of the Federal spending doesn't reverse we will see more people thinking the unthinkable.
Its happened before, don't think that it couldn't happen again.
