Is he on spring break Mang? I mean he's been at the tourney since our first game. A lot of days to miss for a kid in school.
He goes to a private high school where he's on a basketball scholarship...

Looks like we will find out in April after the McDonald All Star game.
They are keeping it pretty secretive if they have decided or if anyone is even leading per what has been said in interviews.
Latest on Lamb is he will announce April 17th at Jordan Brand Classic. Here is the article:

from the article:
"According to Lamb, Doron will choose between Kansas, Kentucky, UCONN, Arizona and West Virginia. Lamb has also heard the buzz that Doron and Selby could play together in college, Lamb thinks that might be something special."
“I’ve heard it,” said Lamb about the Doron and Selby playing together. “Oh man – that would be scary,” he added.
I dont like the sound of that at all....selby isnt even considering us and they're possibly playing together....doesnt sound good, it looks like mayo, newell, and langford are our next best options....hopefully we lock up 1 or 2 of them soon atleast.

Yeah I thought that too when I first read it but after reading that last paragraph made me wonder if that wasn't contradicting the "playing together" scenario.
“I watched the Big East games, Mississippi State and Kentucky, and Kansas against Kansas State,” said Lamb. “They’re good, and
they will be good regardless next year,” added Lamb
.
Did that mean that they will be good regardless of whether Lamb goes there or not? Maybe and also remember this is a Kansas article who are recruiting both players with their own spin of things. I wouldn't count him out yet, especially with the New York connection with our players and the fact that he doesn't seem to want to go far away from home.

A popular rumor I saw yesterday was that Coach Harrison did not return to Morgantown with the team following our BE Championship. Apparently he felt the need to strike while the iron is still hot. Doron Lamb was, to the best of my knowledge, in NYC for the entire BE tournament.

Josh Langford favors Ole Miss as of right now.
And just to add to Mang's news...Macon will still be considering us, he just told the coaches that he wanted to explore his options.
The likes of Kentucky, Syracuse, Purdue, Ohio State, etc. are chasing Macon.

It's absurd to me that it's even within the rules for guys to commit three years before they can sign.

Couldn't agree more. It's insane that a freshman or sophomore actually know that far in advance where he'll end up.

They rarely do, they're just trying to save a spot.

Maybe it's just me, but something does seem a little off with our basketball recruiting. At least with this year's class (so far) and the decommit from Macon (yes, that's a long way off), but I'm also not hearing much about the 2011 class.
